We have the freedom to act in the best interests of our children and utilize tried-and-true curricula and instructional strategies to challenge and educate them, unlike private or public educational institutions. For instance, we instruct students to base their decisions on verifiable facts, to honestly assess new concepts as they come to them, and to either accept or reject them without allowing for discrepancies. This is a crucial part of our efficient instruction and fosters independent thought in the students. To help the students learn the vital role of assessing and validating anything they choose to accept as true, we occasionally include errors in the lessons. Rather than encouraging rote learning and obedience, our goal is to foster intellectual freedom.

Behavior management instruction is as important to our academic program. Without the second, the first is unable to succeed. By exposing our pupils to the repercussions of their misdeeds and the procedures necessary for a fair and appropriate settlement, we help them learn self-management.
